” The Wind Energy Ireland Expo was a belting event with the “Who’s Who” of the industry from government, developers, asset owners, supply chain and more…. With one key objective in mind, to maximise Ireland’s unmatched offshore potential and continuing to drive the onshore progress through investment, innovation and collaboration. Thanks to Noel Cunniffe, Justin Moran, Dave Linehan, Johanna Cafferkey and the wider Wind Energy Ireland team – you absolutely smashed it….
We go again at Conference in January….”
Yet another very successful day /days in the life of Tim Keenan.
This year both Tim and Aydn attended the Expo in Ireland as it is such an important event where you can connect, share information, learn, meet new people and catch up with the delegates you already know. Tim has attended the Expo for a number of years and has build up some wonderful relationships and this year because of his expertise and knowledge about the industry was asked to speak. Tim and his team have gone from strength to strength and are now highly regarded in the industry as the specialist RENEWABLE ENERGY RECRUITMENT EXPERTS.
Aydn is our Business Development specialist, again with his expertise in Renewables and Sustainability. Joining Tim and Aydn in the team are Katie, Callum, Sam and Eve, they are a real force to be reconned with.
We look forward to hearing about the conference in January.
Over the past few months I have been looking for someone who could come and compliment our already fabulous Business Support Team…. and yippee…. I found her, meet Lucy!
Lucy has embedded herself into the team like a duck to water with Laura and Casey who are so happy to have her join them.
All three ladies possess skills in a variety of areas within the Business Support Title and they all work collaboratively to ensure the sales team and managers have exactly what they require on a daily basis for the smooth running of recruitment business.
OCC are very lucky to have them all!

Another successful coffee morning for this worthy charity.
£145 raised as local business’ were invited to join us for coffee, cake and a good old natter. We met some lovely people from a local accountants, a care provider business and another recruitment company.
It was lovely to meet you all and thank you for participating.
From all at OCC.
A huge welcome to EVE our fabulous new Trainee Recruitment Consultant.
I came across Eve when she was just 6 years old ….. yes I am old … I taught her in school and she had always stood out to me as a lovely child.
Fast forward 13 years I met her in my local estate agents as I was selling my house with them. Following a good old catch up and chat I asked her if she would be interested in a career in recruitment as I thought she would be a perfect fit. Intelligent, hard worker, polite, articulate and was looking for a challenging career in a sales environment she was perfect.
Eve has now been with us over a month and is training in all departments and will keep her seat warm in the RENEWABLES department as she has a connection with the environment after her love and success of geography qualifications. Eve will continue to train over the next 12 weeks on a weekly programme of Recruitment Techniques and Sales Training with a specialist course from our partners Enabling Change.
Happy and Successful future Eve.

Our very own Laura and her daughter Emilia set themselves a challenge to walk 1 mile per day for 30 days throughout September. Following a day of school and work, plan the dinner, tidy up, and then walk it can be harder than it seems with other life chores to do, well they did it!!
Infact 36 miles and raised over £150 for Cancer Research which is brilliant.
Well done to both of you and I am sure it will be a great ‘Show and Tell’ at school for such a super achievement.
In September DIYSOS came to Northwich, my local town to embark on the huge job of building a new extension to the our local Children’s Cancer Therapy Centre ‘ The Joshua Tree’.
The Joshua Tree has been part of my local community for a number of years. They have been consistent in fundraising, donations and of course lots of voluntary participation. The centre provides support for families affected by childhood cancer by offering therapy with professionals, well being sessions, specialist sibling support and much more.
The Joshua Tree were selected to be part of the BBC DIYSOS and Children in Need to build an incredible extension to the already existing building to provide much needed space and extra facilities to enhance the charity.
After following the my local Facebook page I saw an advert to be a general volunteer for as long or as short as you could spare so obviously I jumped at the chance. I became part of the team midway through the build so it was the dirty stage, getting those plaster boards up, insulation and plastering. Not expecting to work so hard we were thrown into it straight away. I began with insulation, not my favourite job I have to say. We carried pallets of plasterboards upstairs and downstairs ( bruises to prove it), we cleaned up after the plasterers, who do make an awful mess, we tidied up the exterior site, shifted debris to skips, wired up the generators, shifted a kitchen and much more.
There were hundreds of trades from all over the country – The Glaswegian Plasterers – Fabulous!!
I loved every moment of the 10 hour shifts of pure hard graft and a lot of laughs. It brought back the absolute brilliance of people who are willing to do something for nothing be caring, kind, funny, passionate and most of all not expect anything in return.
THE BEST TIME .- THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME

Last week we celebrated OCC anniversaries of Callum, Katie and Casey. Thank you for all for your hard work and dedication to the business and we look forward to many more years of working together.
The team finished the bumper year end with staff celebrations with a delicious lunch and copious amounts of ‘ summer juice’….. cocktails, beer and fizz!
Thank you to you all for being a truly successful team ! Happy summer to you all.
