Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Our best dressed Christmas Tree entry.
Merry Christmas to all our clients, contractors, candidates and everyone who we have the privilege to work with.
Here at OCC we decided to support our local NHS Trust – Mid Cheshire Hospital Trust so we entered the Best Dressed Christmas Tree Competition.
As a renewable recruitment company we decided to make our theme as sustainable as possible. Our Christmas Tree was sustainably sourced our decorations included recycled wood, dried fruit, salt dough trees and toilet role and recycled card wind turbines. The staff had also donated to the local food bank charity and had a collection for MCHT…. all in a days work!
Merry Christmas to all and a very healthy, happy and prosperous 2024.

Happy Friday Everyone
Children in Need 2023
OCC have had a Friday tradition of SPIN THE WHEEL.
This Friday was special as we dressed up and celebrated Children in Need 2023.
Our Friday spin the wheel follows a quiz to get us in the mood for the weekend as we close at 3pm on Fridays.
This week it was Sharnie, Katie and Liz to spin the wheel as Sharnie has first interview of the week, Katie had first placement of the week and Liz had made a referral for an IT Manager. The wheel consists of a variety of prizes for example, £25 for charity, lunch for the team, coffee run to name but a few. It is a great way to celebrate the teams achievements and adds a whole lot of fun every Friday.

OCC Group Rebranded
OCC Group Rebranded.
Prefix ‘Re’ is one of the most common prefixes used in the English language. The prefix ‘re’ means again, back, or to repeat. Any verb or adverb preceded by ‘Re-‘ indicates that it is being performed or described again.
Welcome to OCC Group Rebranded.
Throughout the last few months we have been busy rebranding OCC.
We began the journey with a large Renewable Energy drive, reaching out to the renewable market leaders, reviewing, responding, respecting and reacting to the changes on planet Earth with the focus of reducing greenhouse gases.
Requirements from large companies came in so we recruited new members to join the renewables team, and we resourced the best candidates – RESULT.
Next we redesigned the website with focus on both our IT & Renewable Energy specialisms, adding in beautiful colours to compliment our re branding. The office required a lick of paint and some design decals to rejuvenate the space. We renewed our desks, rearranged the furniture, reeked havoc with the cables and rewarded the staff for their hard work. Overall the experience has reinvigorated the whole team, we respect each other, we remember to say thank you, offer a hug when needed and reach out when help is required.
Thank you everyone.
The plants are on their way!

MNDA- Strictly and The Grange School Hartford, Northwich
Welcome to Strictly, The Grange School, Hartford & OCC.
Motor Neurone Disease must be one of the most devastating diseases of our time. Following the documentary of Rob Burrow and a teacher at our local school, Motor Neurone Disease the rare condition that progressively damages parts of the nervous system and eventually causes wasting within the body, struck an emotional chord.
The school hold an amazing Strictly evening of glitter and glam every couple of years to raise money for a charity that has touched the school community, the last being Childhood Cancer.
OCC Group took pride in sponsoring this wonderful event which by the end of the evening had raised over £63,000.00, truly amazing. The evening was filled with glamorous beauties, handsome men, delightful dancers and top class judges including our very own Tim Keenan head of OCC Renewable Energy Recruitment.
Thank You to all who participated.

Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support
What a wonderful way to begin a Friday
This sunny Friday morning the team managed to raise just over £200 in the Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Here at Alvaston Business Park, Nantwich we invited the local companies to come together and share in cake, coffee and chat to raise much needed funds for the wonderful staff at Macmillan Cancer Support. This particular charity has touched so many of our lives, offering support, counselling, care and complete understanding of any kind of cancer and how to manage the devastating process ahead. Martin our Managing Director is keen to raise and donate to many charities including MNDA, Childhood Cancer, Shelter and The British Heart Foundation.
We want to say a huge thank you to Hades Infrastructure, Lyons Griffiths Ltd, Pro Deacon, Fusion People and AB Nutrition Ltd for their support.
OCC Group will promise to donate and fund raise for a variety of charities.
Thank you.
